Future “physical” walk around AI x Avatar — LIVE Streaming
VR Chat seems big in the past few years — especially during lockdown — , but seems like a niche place amongst certain group.
There are also some popular LIVE streams via Twitch etc utilising realistic / stylistic avatar, usually with certain persona. Yes, you still need some kind of interesting talent and know how to be a fun avatar.
This is besides the emerging of LIVE streams of all kinds on Tiktok and also Twitch streamer. Streaming LIVE as avatar could provide extra security for privacy.
Some streamers are also doing walk around and live streaming their world doing things: mostly gyms or cookings.
Physical “walk around” in form of Avatar 3D motion capture fullbody is not yet common. I wonder if this is possible with something like APPLE VISION PRO coming out this year 2024. I wish that a device that does AR and VR also does full motion capture body with fingers. That would be perfect then we can “live stream” as 3D Avatar.
Now, add AI into calculation; Usually people associate AI with automatic chat bot, but I think AI actually could augment our brain and appearance — as we wish. And best in realtime. One simple example is our ability to communicate and speak in multiple language that we don’t know but the AI could assist with that — again: in realtime.
We are entering era of “Ghost In The Shell” type of technology!
Between human body as anchor, our own mind and persona, and what we like to display as augmented avatar, isn’t it a fascinating new world that’s really rather new to explore. Most humans are probably “shy” and “timid” and many talents are obscured by our business and duty of everyday, but being Avatar means new possibilities.
