TRUST and BELIEF and CONTROL

How do you belief and trust something in the first place?

Human brain is an interesting piece of machine. As much as our brain can be really smart, we also happily like to be stupid, time to time again. I am not talking any specific stupidity, but admit it in front of mirror, we all sometimes make stupid decision every now and then. But we learn from out mistakes, that is the thing to remember. We belief in our own decision sometimes a little bit too much.

Then we have things like RELIGION, or something we like to really believe in. Whatever your religion is, maybe at some point you simply just fall and believe your God(s), or your priest or your bible or your religious friends, without any doubt.

Or maybe you are not a believer? You are an atheist? Maybe you don’t trust others too easily? It’s okey too, I guess. There is a saying however, if you don’t trust anyone, you cannot be trusted yourself.

Trust and belief within person to person, friends, strangers, group, or society. Do you really trust your government, doctors, teachers, your bankers, your spouse, (all) your friends, your lover, etc? It’s interesting topic to talk about. I used to be really naive, I trust people. But in my highschool, my friends betray me like when I trust them to stay in my room to play video games, they stole my Dragon Ball cards and sold them in school. Another friend lied to me about something so that they can actually get what they want. People do this and trust is broken.

In some countries, religions can become the rules: you cannot eat pork, you cannot do sinful things (like watching adult movies), you cannot be naked, and so on. Do we trust them and obey the rules? Or we always have this inner sense to fight and rebel? How did I join this religion (with so many stupid rules) in the first place?

After the pandemic, a lot of things goes inside my head. It annoys me a lot that these days we live day to day just seeing the number of infections and having to stay in lockdown, wearing mask, checkin and checkout places — everything is dictated, and we simply need to obey the new rules. I honestly do not like this. Who and how we get to this point? Why is it that we are being controlled like this? How about people who controls us? Do they really obey their own rules? Or they can have more freedom?

Obviously some trust can go a little too far, like we trust a person to be the leader, but then the leader goes crazy and started to become like dictator and people simply need to obey the leader or else. I don’t like any of this.
